singfest was awesome.
despite terrible organisation, spoilt microphones, mother long queues, waiting waiting and more waiting, massively overpriced food ($10 for a plastic cup of beer?!), blazing "1000degree" hot weather, overcrowding on the grass with people stepping all over you/randomly sitting down beside you uninvited, annoying teeny-punk ass UWC kids (who i will grudgingly admit are rather hot)... the artistes made it all worth it. seriously.
from "who the fuck is this guy" to "ok he's damn cool", bryan is now a jason mraz convert. haha.

pussycat dolls were HAWT. they actually like put up fans or smtg in front of the stage to get their hair blowing all sexily.
one republic and panic at the disco were good too. panic was especially funny cos the mic was spoilt so there was absolutely no sound but the lead singer was like screaming his lungs out and getting all carried away. in silence. hilarious.
alicia keys was freaking awesome. i'm a convert. although her tight white pants weren't too nice,
but her voice and performance was amazing. and i now actually like her semi-new song which i originally hated. haha.
not so well known was this jamie scott guy from UK which bryan loved, and RICK ASTLEY (yeah baby c'mon) who was damn hilarious. he's this oldish guy from the 80s-90s who sang MAMBO SONGS. like the 2gether 4ever and never 2 part and never gonna give you up. people actually threw panties onto the stage at him. PANTIES!!? like did they bring a new piece or did they throw actual panties!!!! nasty.

also, special thanks to some random friends who tried to make my birthday really special. but unfortunately i pangsehed my own surprise party. that's just the ultimate self sabotage isn't it.
